Poetry? Where does it come from Does it come from the mind Or does it come from the heart
The words I write come From the 2nd of the two For my mind does not think
When these words come down on paper
My heart and soul are my guiding light To write these word that enchant And capture your mind To make you think What inspires them to do that?
What inspires my poetry it’s the complexity And yet the simplicity of it all How just a few words can paint amazing images Of love or of hate

The one on the train They all avoid for fear Of what I am My clothes are dirty I have bad breath

Poetic BlockThe words I write Become harder each and everyday With the passion fading My mind begins to blank
The words I write… an expression Of my soul and hearts true words One thing I cannot bare to lose
Why is it getting harder My mind is stuck on standby I need to relight the passion My spirit once did posses
But as I sit here and wonder Why does my passion fade? I look for ways to find it To bring back the word I once wrote
Maybe lack of opinion Or words to cheer me on Not many know my name

My AngelFalling down from the sky An angel dressed in white With wing made of light so bright I can only take a glimpse Of her beauty
Her hair the brown of autumn leafs Falling from their trees Her eyes like diamonds in the rough Just waiting to shine in the warm sunlight
With a smile so bright People can see its light Miles and miles away And still feel the warmth it brings
Now my angel has come to earth Her wings begin to fade Slowly I can see her
From behind the blinding light
Her wings are gone Her clothes are n My Angel

For those who do not know me I am a 18yr old male who looks nothing like a poet (which some find weird) most people are surprised when they find out that i can write.

I was never the brightest kid but I have found something that I enjoy doing and get comments that make me happy about what I do would never wanna stop if possible.

i have been writing since i was about 16. i started with basic rhyming poem and have moved on to open poems. open poetry has given me the freedom express what i want the world to see and sometime to express it in another persons point of view, my poems come from my heart without thought, from my feeling and my emotions.

My poems will probably never become well known but I want to keep trying until I write a poem that will one day capture the minds and hearts of everyone.
